Dr. Cassandra D. Caldwell is the Director for Talent Acquisition, College and External Relations. In this role, she works with a national team of over 200 recruiters, relationship managers, managers, and directors to strengthen relationships with faculty, alumni, and students on 168 campuses. She is also responsible for developing and executing college and external relations programs in order to attract, promote and retain diverse candidates. More

Sodexo Hosts First Virtual Career Fair in Second Life

For three days, beginning on May 15, 2007, Sodexo participated in the first virtual career fair in Second Life. Since this was the company’s first foray into this type of media, Sodexo had no idea how it would turn out. According to Arie Ball, Vice-President of Sourcing and Talent Acquisition for Sodexo , the event was a huge success, and the results far exceeded any expectations. Ball indicated that the company will forward several candidates to the next step in the hiring process. There are still more candidates to be interviewed "in-world". More

Sodexo Co-sponsors First African American to Be Named Chef de Cuisine at Caesars Palace and Motivational Speaker Jeff Henderson to Speak at NCCU

Sodexo sponsored Jeff Henderson, a motivational speaker and an award-winning chef, as a speaker at North Carolina Central University (NCCU) on Thursday, April 5th. The event was hosted by the NCCU Department of Hospitality & Tourism Administration. The speaking engagement was a historic moment because NCCU was the first Historically Black College and University where he spoke. An award-winning chef, Henderson made history as the first African American to be named Chef de Cuisine at Caesars Palace Hotel in Las Vegas, and is currently executive chef at the Bellagio Casino and Resort in Las Vegas.
