Sodexo Receives National Recognition for Focus on Talent

Sodexo Receives Two Awards at the Onrec Expo 2009: Most Innovative Employee Referral Program and Most Innovative College Recruitment Program
The Onrec Awards recognize excellence in talent acquisition initiatives. This year’s winners were announced on November 3rd in Chicago at the Onrec Expo 2009. Sodexo was delighted to be recognized with two awards at the Expo: Most Innovative College Recruiting Campaign and Most Innovative Employee Referral Program.
Our college recruitment program was recognized for its focus on identifying, attracting and developing top college talent for future leadership roles in Sodexo. From our paid college internship program that provides invigorating work experience, formal mentoring and professional development, to our recruitment of entry-level talent into management training positions, Sodexo is developing a cadre of talented professionals to move into future leadership roles in our company.
Building on Sodexo’s strong culture of recruitment characterized by our “Be Hire Minded” orientation, our Employee Referral Program, Starfinder, was recognized for its expanded eligibility and incentive payouts, as well as the innovative approaches to promoting referrals, including an online, interactive process that has increased the percentage of external referrals hired by 50% since program inception.
